'This Is Us' Season 1 Spoilers & News: Mandy Moore To Sing? Milo Ventimiglia Confirms Jack Is In Present Day

The fifth episode of "This Is Us," which airs on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 9:00 p.m. on NBC, is going to delight viewers. Mandy Moore, who started her career as a singer before she got into acting, will be rendering a song as part of the backstory of her character, Rebecca Pearson.

Meanwhile, Mandy Moore's TV husband, Milo Ventimiglia, also confirms his character (Jack Pearson) will be seen in the present day of "This Is Us." He announces this after fans have been coming up with theories of Jack's storyline when it was revealed in "This Is Us" Episode 2 that Rebecca is no longer with him.

Mandy Moore hints about her singing a song in the upcoming episode on "This Is Us" that will show the Pearson's early years as a couple before the kids came around. "Rebecca and Jack get into an argument about starting a family," the episode synopsis reads, per Buddy TV.

"I was in a bar band," revealed Mandy Moore about her character on "This Is Us," according to E! Online. "So there will be the music connection moving forward," the actress added.

Also featured in the next episode's storyline is Kevin's struggles as an actor. Justin Hartley, who plays the character, said that some scenes might be uncomfortable to watch for "This Is Us" viewers. "You'll see Kevin stumble a lot in the next episode," he also told E! Online.

Meanwhile, Milo Ventimigla has been engaging fans on his Twitter account last week when he confirmed that Jack is going to be in the present day. Following speculations that Jack dies earlier in the story, the actor assured fans that they will still get to see an older Jack on "This Is Us."

However, as it is already the style of "This Is Us," the actor's revelation could be part of a twist. Speaking in a separate interview on E! Online, Milo Ventimiglia said that fans will learn more about his present day ties with Rebecca, his kids and his best buddy Miguel.
