‘NCIS’ Season 14 Spoilers: NCIS Investigates Petty Officer Abduction Linked To Something Bigger; Abby Gives Newbies Gifts That Sparked Debate?

In "NCIS" Season 14 Episode 6, titled "Shell Game," the NCIS team investigates the abduction of a petty officer, which turned out to be linked to something much bigger and dangerous. Meanwhile, Abby's attempts to get closer to the newbies by giving them personalized gifts.

The new NCIS team is starting to settle in, and the latest episode brought them to investigate what happened to Petty Officer Kelly Ristow after she miraculously escaped from being held prisoner and tortured. When her captor put his guard down, Kelly got the chance to kill him and escape.

But instead of going to the police, Kelly was found in the airport, which was puzzling to the NCIS. Apparently, Kelly, who was injured and traumatized, was able to borrow a phone and talk to her husband, Chris. Chris told her to go to the airport, but he didn't turn up.

NCIS then believed that Chris was responsible for his wife's abduction--he didn't reported to the police that his wife was missing and signs showed he was home recently. But Kelly believed her husband was in trouble, especially when they found out his account had millions of dollars that came from a shell company called QFire.

Nobody knew who really owned QFire, but later it was lined to a Leonard Weiss. Chris found out about his employer being a fraudulent company. Weiss kidnapped his wife to get his money back, and an SD card where Chris put the evidences he gathered.

Unfortunately, Chris was not able to hand the SD card to the right people when his body was found in his car in the airport. NCIS then had to figure out where Chris hid the SD card, and Gibbs figured it was in the new collar of his dog, which his sister-in-law had been looking after.

On a lighter note, Abby knitted sweaters for the NCIS team's newbies. Whether to wear it or not had been the debate, but Alex Quinn wanted to let Abby know she appreciated it, so even if it's not really her style, she walked in the office proudly wearing the sweater. Nick Torres, on one hand, was not fazed even with Abby subtly pushing him to wear it.
