Jay Z Gives Hillary Clinton His Support By Holding A Free Concert In Cleveland Days Before The Election

The hip-hop rapper and entrepreneur, Jay Z, is going to hold a free concert in Cleveland, Ohio to show his support for the presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton. The event will take place just a few days before the much-awaited election.

The "Get Out The Vote" concert aims to encourage Black voters to cast their ballot for Clinton. A representative of Clinton told Buzzfeed that they are hoping the concert will unite the people of Ohio and also encourage them to vote for the Democratic Presidential candidate.

The Clinton camp also added that special guests will join Jay Z in the concert. One of the special guests might include Lebron James, basketball star of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Earlier this month, Lebron has endorsed Clinton so it won't be surprising to see him in the concert.

This is not the first time that Jay Z has supported Clinton. The rapper together with his wife Beyonce Knowles has attended fundraisers for the campaign of the Democratic Presidential candidate.

Jay Z and Beyonce have been supporting Hillary Clinton for a while now. They were even spotted hanging out with Bill Clinton in Made in America festival. The couple were seen chatting with Bill Clinton backstage.

Even before Clinton, the power couple has also supported Barack Obama when he was also running for presidency. Jay Z also held concerts in year 2008 and 2012 to show his support for Obama, as pointed out by IB Times. The couple has also become good friends with Obama and his wife Michelle.

Aside from Jay Z and Beyonce, Clinton has also tapped other celebrities to support her in her campaigns. One of these celebrities is Jon Bon Jovi who is going to hold an event in Pittsburgh and Tampa before the election. Pop stars like Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus have also been tapped to show their support for Clinton.

Jay Z's "Get Out The Vote" concert for Hillary Clinton will be held on November 4. The venue is yet to be announced but the distribution of the tickets will start on October 28 at 3030 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland.
