Microsoft News & Update: Company To Launch Its Surface All-In-On PC Today!; Competing With Apple's Event?

Microsoft is reported to release and unveil its first all-in-one PC. Microsoft is calling this device Microsoft Surface-All-In-One PC to be announced during their event on Oct. 26.

According to TopTech News, among the devices to be announced during the Microsoft event is Microsoft Surface-All-In-One PC. The Microsoft Surface-All-In-One PC will also be announced together with other Microsoft devices such as Surface Pro 2-in-1 and Surface Book laptop.

The Microsoft event is set to start 10am Eastern Time which will be held in New York. This is happening a day before Apple does the same thing on Oct. 27 in California to announce its new line of Mac Products.

Microsoft first launched its Surface laptop back in 2012 and now has evolved to Surface 3 and Surface Pro 4 2-in-1 tablets and the Surface Book laptop which is aimed to compete against Apple's MacBook devices. Microsoft also started shipping Surface Hub, which is mall mounted touchscreen for presentations and video conferencing. The next in line is Microsoft Surface-All-In-One PC.

The event on Oct. 26 may showcase the arrival of Microsoft Surface-All-In-One PC or Surface Studio. Microsoft has not offered many previews making Microsoft supporters all the more interested and in anticipation.

As added by The Verge, the launch of Microsoft Surface-All-In-One PC will be an attempt to remake the usual desktop computer. Microsoft designed the Microsoft Surface-All-In-One PC as to compete with Apple's iMac but with few known twists.

The Microsoft Surface-All-In-One PC is expected to have a large display which may be between 24inches and 27inches which will make use of a hinge to lay flat on a smooth surface such as an office desk. This will make the Microsoft Surface-All-In-One PC more like the Surface tablet device.

It will also be interesting to see what Microsoft uses in this flat mode. Microsoft users are also expecting to see touchscreen and stylus support in Microsoft Surface-All-In-One PC. The Microsoft Surface-All-In-One PC also will focus on being able to create 3D objects and Holograms using Microsoft's new Surface hardware.
