'Pokemon Go' Latest News & Updates: Is Niantic's Halloween Edition Release Of The Game An Attempt To Win Back Players?

The "Pokemon Go" era seem to have ended as the game's player drastically decreased by two million. In the light of redeeming the game, the makers of "Pokemon Go" are bound to release a Halloween edition of the augmented reality game.

"Pokemon Go" became an instant hit after it was released on July 6 of this year. The augmented reality game managed to capture the attention of its viewers as they were placed on a quest to "Catch Em All!" the hype of "Pokemon Go" maybe worldwide, but it was deemed as an overnight success by most of its players.

The augmented reality game lost the interest of its audience as no new features and updates were added. According to The Guardian, the game's players drastically dropped from 50 million to 30 million. The lack of new features and updates caused most players to uninstall the "Pokemon Go" application.

"Pokemon Go" was tagged as an overnight success, but Niantic managed to recapture their audience by releasing a Halloween edition of the augmented reality game. The makers of "Pokemon Go" are set to release a Halloween special for their players. The Halloween special will be making rounds from October 26 to November 1. The return of "Pokemon Go" would feature the creepiest Pokemon including Drowzee, Hypno, Ghastly, Haunter, Gengar, Golbat and Zubat.

The "Pokemon Go" Halloween event will earn players Halloween treats as it was mentioned that players will get to have more candies if they'll actively catch and transfer Pokemon. It was then mentioned that they will get more treats if they will walk and play "Pokemon go" with a friend.

"Pokemon Go" is recently updated to its latest version, as it was announced that the augmented reality game is now in its 0.43.3 version. The "Pokemon Go" update, however, is limited to android users as the iOS users are bound by the 1.13.3 version, which was released with the android.
