Viola Davis On Being An Advocate Of Proper Health Care For Less Fortunate People; 'How To Get Away With Murder' Star Reminds Community On the Importance Of Health

Viola Davis, the star of How To Get Away With Murder, is more than just a Hollywood actress. She is also making news for being a hardcore advocate of health care in places that need more help in this department.

In an article published by The Huffington Post, the HTGAWM actress recently joined forces with The Vaseline Healing Project. They aim to give out information regarding proper health care in places where the less fortunate people live. Medical supplies, health care providers, and information about dermatological care are sent out to these sites to help these people further.

Viola Davis, who also now has a new film with Denzel Washington called Fences, is serious about encouraging everyone to prioritize their health, especially black women. She reminded this particular community never to disregard nor take their health for granted. It is a must that women should not be ashamed of taking care of themselves.

She added that black women have this tendency to care for pretty much everybody but themselves. The pressure of them having to take whatever they are given in life is also an issue that they all battle with. The Vaseline Healing Project is a good venue for the actress to impart more of the knowledge and experiences she has when it comes to health care.

This project is not only available in the United States, but even to places like South Africa, India and Jordan. It has now helped more than 1.8 million people to be aware of their dermatological needs and other matters regarding health care.

Viola Davis is a busy woman joggling having a successful acting career in Hollywood and a charity project like this one. If you are inspired by her works, share this article with your family and other loved ones, so they too would be inspired.
