Kevin Durant Completes The Weaponry Of The Warriors: Will He Make Or Break The Team?

The Golden State Warriors (GSW) signs Kevin Durant from Oklahoma City Thunder (OKC), after losing to the Cavs. The Warriors aim to have a back-to-back championship record in the NBA Finals which could be one reason why they got Durant, who was a free agent just after the Finals of the last Regular Season.

GSW signed Kevin Durant, one of the NBA's points leaders and a four-time holder of a scoring title according to Basketball Reference , to complete Golden State Warrior's roster of gunners in hopes to make them even better this season. To break their current title of 73 winning streak in the Regular Season and even conquer the Finals.

However, the very start of the regular season was a misfortunate turnout for Golden State Warriors after losing to San Antonio Spurs at 129-100. Spectators suggest that the team had difficulties in adjusting their team play now that both Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry is on their team. The two are both perimeter shooters and are only attributed to a period of adjustment as faced by any team in the NBA.

On the other hand, Golden State Warriors still stands 2-1 as of the present after winning against Phoenix Suns and New Orleans Pelicans. Despite the circumstance, the Dub nation all over the world still believes that this could be the best season for the Golden State Warriors after adding Durant to the team.

GSW Coach Steve Kerr on an interview by CSN Bay Area said that the reason they play is because they will show the weakness of the team. He also said that he doesn't really care much about losing to San Antonio Spurs for their very first game.

He felt bad for the Dub nation, who had to experience that terrible loss. But as long their team goes on, they would surely meet their goals and that their loss really opened up the weakness that GSW had. And that game will motivate them to even strive harder.

What do you think of Durant's performance in his last three games this Regular season?
