'Tokyo Ghoul' Season 3 Update: Storyline Revealed As show Runners Suggest It Would Be Something Dark

"Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 is already confirmed and fans should brace themselves as they will be in for an eerie adventure. It was recently hinted that "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 will reveal a dark storyline.

"Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 was rumored for cancellation, but the speculations was dismissed after show runners confirmed the series' plot. Move News Guide released a report where it was highlighted that "Tokyo Ghoul" season e will have a "dark, disillusioning psychological" plot that would leave Magna lovers at the edge of their seats.

"Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 is said to be the most sought after the season as new characters will be introduced. Fans are also thrilled to know as to what the possible storyline would be as show runners teased that the "Tokyo Ghoul2 season 3 plot would be dark. Though the storyline was already leaked, it was yet unannounced as to when the 3rd season for "Tokyo Ghoul" would air.

Anime Maru already hinted the possible storyline a few months back after the website officially confirmed that series' 3rd season premiere. Bob, "Tokyo Ghoul's" writer suggest that the storyline for the upcoming season with being the darkest compared to the first two seasons. It was then mentioned that the showrunners will be doing their best not to shy away from the previous season, thus they will maintain the same storyline, but would turn it into something darker.

"This is perhaps the most disillusioning, psychological and darkest plot line that we will attempt to adapt," the anime's writer Bob* stated. "We hope to remain as faithful as possible to the source material, although we cannot guarantee that more gory scenes such as Touka's standardized exam test-taking will not be censored."
