Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens Reunion Confirmed: ‘High School Musical’ Actress Opens Up About Breakup With Ex

"High School Musical 4" is officially happening on Disney, years after its third installment aired on the big screens. While Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have already parted ways, rumors are rife that the "Zanessa" reunion may happen, as the actress finally opens up about her breakup with the "Baywatch" actor.

Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron may reunite once again after so many years thanks to "High School Musical 4." The popular franchise brought these two together as a couple, but unfortunately, their relationship ended shortly after the franchise aired its final installment.

However, it looks like these two may reunite for the fourth installment of "HSM," as Hudgens recently opened up about her breakup with Efron. In an interview with New York Times, Hudgens explained that she was getting fed up with Efron being popular with other girls, reports Capital FM.

"Girls were running after him, and I was giving them death stares," she said. "Then I realized that's not what that's about."

Following their breakup, Hudgens was able to find love again and is going strong with her boyfriend, Austin Butler. Efron, on the other hand, has been moving from one relationship to another after the breakup.

Despite their messy breakup, many fans continue to hold out hope that Efron and Hudgens will reunite in the movie franchise that made them famous. As E! News reports, "High School Musical 4" will feature a new set of characters and cast members.

There have been reports that none of the original cast will be in "HSM 4," but fans believe that there will be some sort of surprise for them. Fans also expressed that it seems to be a good sign that Hudgens is finally opening up about her split with Efron, so they can both move forward with the reunion.
