'iZombie' Season 3 Renewal: Show's Air Date Moved To 2017, Attempting Success For The Last Time

The second season of "iZombie" didn't push well enough than expected. But CW wants to give success another shot with the show's renewal. According to News Briefs, the third season could be its final.

The spoilers of the show's third season have some positive note. Liv Moore, a character played by Rose McIver will no longer have bad luck in her love life. Executive producer Rob Thomas assures that Season 3 will put an end to Liv's streak of dead and undead lovers.

On the previous episodes, Liv's love interests often die or become a zombie, just like her. Rob Thomas, the showrunner of the series revealed the good news for the fans. For hope's sake, Liv will finally be loved despite being a zombie.

In addition to the executive producer's statement, Liv's relationship will not end by death. At least, if it ends, it will end in less cringing causes.

This update on the storyline will tease the minds of the Liv's fans. Who will be her happily ever after? While iZombie fanatics are waiting for Major played by Robert Buckley and Liv's reunion, TV Line states that Rob Thomas is thinking of putting another potential love interest for Liv.

Who will she end up with? Will it be Major, or someone new, or could be Peyton? In an interview, McIver, and Peyton do have a great chemistry together, she does not mind going for a woman. Although, no one yet is taking their statements seriously, but that's still another teaser.

Recalling the viewership ratings, and critical reviews of Season one and two, the numbers aren't well. There are speculations that the change in Liv's love life hints a possible end of the show. Or this could be the reason why the air date has been moved to next year.

Finding the lead character a significant other, appears to be the completion of the storyline. But as of now these are still rumors, CW is yet to confirm it.
