Lenovo News & Update: It Is Believed That IdeaPad Miix 720 Is Better Than The Surface Pro 4? Find Out Details Here.

Lenovo recently released to what seemed to be their answer to Microsoft's Surface Pro 4. Lenovo's IdeaPad Miix 720 has features considered to be impressive enough to be compared with the leading brand and model.

According to Itech Post, the Lenovo Miix 720 features Intel's latest Kaby Lake processor available in i3, i5 and i7 configurations. 4-16 GB of RAM, 128 to 1024GB storage. The Lenovo Miix 720 also has 12-inch high-resolution 3:2 2880 by 1920-pixel display. The Gorilla Glass 4 of Lenovo Miix 720 also makes it scratch-resistant and tough.

The Lenovo Miix 720 also comes with a stylus having 2048 pressure levels and Windows Hello though an iris scanning infrared camera. A keyboard cover is also available which comes with backlight.

What seems to be Lenovo Miix 720's competitor, the Surface Pro 4 has 6^th Gen Intel Core m3, 128GB SSD, 4GB of RAM and 12.3 -inch PixelSense touchscreen display Surface Pen included. The Surface Pro 4 also runs in Windows 10 Pro.

The Lenovo Miix 720 comes with 1-megapixel front facing and 5-megapixel rare facing camera. The Surface Pro 4 has 5-megapixel front facing camera and 8-megapixel rear facing camera. The Lenovo Miix 720 measures 0.35inches thick and only weighs 1.7 pounds.

The Lenovo Miix 720 will still carry Lenovo's trademark watchband hinge. Color options for Lenovo Miix 720 will either be black or gold. Lenovo is taking its time to come up with a good device.

As added by Laptop Mag, the Lenovo Miix 720 will charge via newly added USB Type-C port to maintain two USB Type-A ports for existing peripherals and devices. Lenovo will also ship an updated version of stylus called the Active Pen 2 with more levels of sensitivity in pressure.

Lenovo has yet to make an official statement as to the release of Lenovo Miix 720. The pricing and release date will have to be announced soon. Upon release, it is believed to be on par with the Surface Pro 4. Just stay tuned for updates.
