The Samsung Galaxy S8 may be the game changer Samsung is waiting for which also indicate why Samsung is pushing for its early release. The upcoming phone is rumored to be one of the most powerful and stylish phones that will come sooner than most have anticipated.

Expectations for the Samsung Galaxy S8 is very high and Samsung is hopefully taking things slowly but surely this time around. However, new leaks are suggesting that the latest phone from Samsung may come in early 2017 since the tech behemoth usually roll out its new flagships at the beginning of the year, Techradar reported.

GSM Arena also acquired the latest specs for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 which includes a 5.1 inches display, Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors, Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It will carry a Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 Exynos, up to 256GB dedicated slot of MicroSD, 64/128 GB and 6GB RAM. Its camera is also to die for since it will offer a dual 12 MP, simultaneous 4K video and 9MP image recording and an 8 MP front camera.

With the end of the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung has to carefully plan when it would release the Samsung Galaxy S8. According to reports, it is possible that the phone will be announced on February 26 or even at an earlier launch.

For the last couple of years, Samsung kicks off the year by releasing its new phones before Mobile World Congress. This year the event will take place on February 27 which could indicate that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will arrive on February 26.

Once the launched is announced on February 26, expect that the new Samsung Galaxy S8 will be available in the market on March 13 or the first week of April. While there are still reports that Samsung has delayed its possible release by two weeks because of what happened with Galaxy Note 7 and for that the company should also be commended as the tech giant may have learned its billion dollar loss lessons well.
