First 'Gifted' Trailer Shows Chris Evans' Struggles In Raising A Child

The star of "Captain America," Chris Evans faces a challenging role of raising and home-schooling a genius child in the upcoming film "Gifted." Chris Evans is set to play a different role in comparison to his past roles such as being Captain America.

"Gifted" has already released its first trailer featuring a father (played by Chris Evans) who is having a hard time raising his late sister's daughter Mary (played by Mckenna Grace). Mary was found by one of her teachers, Bonnie (played by Jenny Slate) having an advanced brain capacity in mathematics for the young girl's age.

Mary is a genius daughter of Frank's sister with immense abilities in solving mathematical equations. Soon enough, Mary's "gift" became an issue in a custody battle, according to Den of Geek. Frank is set to face a family conflict about Mary's destiny.

Evans who plays Frank in "Gifted" wishes to grant his sister's wishes to raise Mary as a normal child in school. The battling of custody has raised when the family wants Mary to be sent away to a place where her intellectual capacities can be harnessed.

Frank, plays by Evans, opposes to the idea of Mary being sent away not being raised as a normal child. As Frank struggles to in facing this issue, a passionate advocate, Roberta (plays by Octavia Spencer) has emerged to help him with the battle.

"Gifted" is an upcoming drama film directed by "The Amazing Spider-Man" movies director Marc Webb, according to Cinemablend. Evans is playing a new interesting role as Frank Adler. Frank's mother who will cause some trouble for the custody battle is played by Lindsay Duncan.

"Gifted" is an upcoming drama film scripted by Tom Flynn, aspiring to pull emotional scenes in the upcoming film. Frank may have promised his sister that he will raise Mary as a normal kid but questions have arisen whether he is depriving Mary of an advanced life destiny. "Gifted" is set to be released in theaters on the 12th of April 2017.
