'The Simpsons' News And Updates: Fox Renews The Series Through Season 30; Sets Record For Longest Running TV Show?

The misadventures of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie and the dysfunctional inhabitants of the town of Springfield continues. Fox Network's iconic animated TV series "The Simpsons" will be renewed for a 29^th and 30^th season.

The addition of 2 new seasons will set a record for "The Simpsons" for having the most episodes for a scripted show. By the end of the 30^th season, the total number of episodes would reach 669.
