Shark Attack News & Update: Mike Coots Returned To Surfing Three Weeks After Shark Attack Which Resulted To Loss Of His Leg! Inspiring!

Inspiring from a man named Mike Coots who returned back to surfing three weeks after his shark attack. The near fatal attack to Mike Coots resulted to loss of his right leg. However unfortunate, this did not deter the surfer from doing what he loves doing the most- surfing.

According to Mirror, it is highly likely that most will never ever go back swimming in the open seas over a slight encounter with great white sharks, let alone survive an almost fatal attack resulting in the loss of the right leg. To most yes, but not to Michael "Mike" Coots.

Mike Coots was surfing off the coast of Hawaii when a fierce tiger shark grabbed him by his right leg and literally took it right off. Even at intense pain and sheer shock because of what happened, Mike Coots managed to catch a small wave which took him back to shore.

Mike Coots was then met by his friends as she reached the shore. The friends dragged him and had a tight bandage to stop the blood flow and hurriedly took him to the hospital on a pickup truck.

After the surgery which took several hours, he was sent home to recover. Mike Coot's recovery took over three weeks to avoid getting further infections. The surfer then healed but without a right leg.

After losing his right leg and being at home for over three weeks to recover from the shark attack, Mike Coots did the most unbelievable thing. Mike Coots went back to the ocean and surfed right back.

As added by news.com.au, Mike Coots said his friends saved his life. Mike Coots recounted that he was bleeding profusely as he reached the shore after the shark attack.

Mike Coots said that in spite of the shark attack, sharks are not meant to be feared. He even said that sharks are beautiful and extremely important species for the health of the ocean.

The story of Mike Coots is a good metaphor to situations being faced by most currently. No matter how challenging, no matter how difficult, nothing should be considered a deterrent.
