‘Pokemon GO’ Updates, Gen 2 Release Date Latest News: New Battle Move, Daily & Weekly Bonuses, Pokemon Families Coming? Generation 2 Releases 2017?

"Pokemon GO" Gen 2 from Niantic Labs plans to bring in not just 100 new Pokemon and corresponding new families but also a new battle move and new bonuses. Niantic Labs seems bent on dropping a new phenomenon with "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 and reawaken interest and overshadow third party tracker issues.

The Silph Road reports that planned changes coming in with "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 was recently in the codes in the APK of v0.45.0. With what The Silph Road identified, Niantic Labs may have a fresh shot at bringing interest back to "Pokemon GO."

After the first phase of "Pokemon GO" release, Niantic Labs enjoyed an upsurge in popularity and Nintendo a rise in stocks value. However, sustainability of player engagement became an issue for "Pokemon GO" not too long after.

Among the "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 findings in the APK for v0.45.0 is a new battle move called Transform. "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 will also reportedly bring in 100 new monsters for Pokemon players to hunt and catch.

These monsters will belong to one of the 52 new Pokemon families, which will include Ho-Oh and Lugia. Pokemon trainers will also find daily quests in "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 from which to earn daily and weekly bonuses.

Engadget points out that a few enhancements were detected in APK codes and were released soon after in "Pokemon GO." The media outlet cites the "Pokemon GO" buddy system as an example.

The Silph Road, however, cautions that these new "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 codes may take some time to be officially released in the Niantic game. The media outlet proposes that the "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 features could be released by Niantic Labs as immediately as a few weeks' time or as late as a few months' time.

To say that "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 could be announced by Niantic Labs in early 2017 would not be out of the question. What "Pokemon GO" Gen 2 feature are you waiting for?
