'19 Kids And Counting' Update: Anna Duggar Finally Divorces Josh? Failed Pregnancy Sign From God?

"19 Kids and Counting" star Anna Duggar is said to finally be divorcing husband, Josh Duggar, eldest son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Divorce rumors have been spreading since Josh's scandals in the past, but the divorce is said to be triggered after the couple failed to get pregnant with their fifth child. 

The Duggar couple was said to have been trying to have another child since they started laying low. However, sources close to Anna said that it didn't work out, and that's when she took this as a sign from God, the Daily Mail reports. The report added that some of Anna's new friends also helped her decide by helping her find a lawyer.

Sources close to her stated that she'll be seeing "a lawyer in the next few weeks" to draw the divorce papers. The report adds that Anna wants to go through a smooth process, especially for their four kids. Other sources also reportedly said that she only stayed with Josh because she believed, as a devout Christian, that "wives should stand by their husbands, no matter what." At one point, Anna was said to believe that everything was her fault.

However, amid divorce rumors, the couple was still cited together at Jinger Duggar, Josh's sister, and Jeremy Vuolo's wedding. After the wedding, the Duggar couple also had a double date with Josh's sister, Priscilla and her husband, David Waller, as reported by ET Online.

It can be recalled that Josh was involved in numerous scandals in the past. Last year, the eldest Duggar child was accused of molesting his younger sisters. Anna even caught the "19 Kids and Counting" star cheating and was forced to apologize for the acts publicly, as reported by People.

"19 Kids and Counting" was one of the top-rating shows on TLC, but was canceled because of Josh's scandal allegations. Its spin-off, "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," also airing on TLC, follows the lives of Jill and Jessa and the other Duggar family members after their family hit rock bottom.
