Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt Update: Custody Agreement Reached, Sole Custody Still Belongs To Actress; Visitation Rights With Therapist Granted To Actor

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reportedly reached a private agreement over the custody of their children. The parents have settled the issue quietly but the agreement is said to be just temporary as sources are claiming that the bargain was made after the two have started speaking to each other again months after the divorce was filed by the actress.

Entertainment Tonight reported that the settlement that was agreed upon by the parents of the six children is that the kids will remain with Angelina Jolie while Brad Pitt will continue having therapeutic visits with the kids. The children are Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and the eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

This is said to be not the final agreement as an insider said that since a therapist has been placed in the situation, the therapist is helping the kids and Brad Pitt in order to know more about how to take care of each other. With the presence and the help of the therapist, Brad Pitt is able to showcase that he is a great parent to his children despite the allegations that he became verbally and physically abusive towards their eldest son.

E! News also reported that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will continue to be interviewed by the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services. A representative added that childcare professionals encouraged the latest legal agreement that was accepted and signed by both sides over a week ago.

Other sources are claiming that the there was no settlement recently agreed upon by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and that there is no change in the status of their interaction with each other.

The new custody agreement report comes after Brad Pitt filed for joint custody over their children because Angelina Jolie asked for sole physical custody over them in her divorce filing in September.

This is the second divorce for Brad Pitt. He was married to Jennifer Aniston but they divorced in 2005. Angelina Jolie, on the other hand, was married twice in the past. One was to Billy Bob Thornton and the other was with Jonny Lee Miller.
