'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 66, 67 Spoilers: Vegeta's Son Trunks Will Die?

"Dragon Ball Super" is currently in the middle of perhaps one of the best arcs in the series so far. We have recently seen previews of Episode 66 that confirm the fusion of Son Goku and Vegeta to counter the threat posed by the villain of the current arc, Zamasu. This will certainly be an episode to look forward to!

Successively, "Dragon Ball Super's" Episode 67 will be another episode to watch out for but with a slightly different reason, and the reason may not be a happy one. A leak released by Gojitaaf, who has been known to post English translations of "Dragon Ball" related releases in Japan on his Facebook page, indicates another possible death in the Saiyan family.

This time it's Vegeta's son Trunks who probably will die. According to Gojitaaf, "Dragon Ball Super's" Episode 67 will be titled "Farewell, Trunks". I would have given a spoiler warning for that, but based on how "Dragon Ball" shows play out, death is neither a new nor permanent thing.

For every arc and every new villain, destruction is imminent and someone is guaranteed to die, but nothing too complicated happens that the summoning of the mighty Dragon can't fix. It remains to be seen, if Trunks is to resurrect in the upcoming episodes of "Dragon Ball Super", given his status of being one of the mainstay cast of the series - it is highly likely he will be, that is, if he actually dies.

Some however have speculated that he probably won't die but will just be left in his time since we are talking about the future Trunks. It is possible that "Farewell, Trunks" could mean that characters from the present will be going back to their respective timeline.

Whatever happens to Trunks remains to be seen as the "Dragon Ball Super" episodes get aired outside Japan. While we wait, we can play the guessing game as to what the future episodes will bring for us in "Dragon Ball Super" series.
