NBA Big Men Trade Rumors: Pelicans' Anthony Davis For Spurs PF LaMarcus Aldridge? 'Unibrow' Demands Trade, LaMarcus "Not Happy"

Despite averaging a monstrous 30.9 points, 11.4 rebounds and 3 blocks a game, Anthony Davis can't seem to carry the New Orleans Pelicans to the win column. The team only has one lone win after 9 contests, and in this case, rumors are crawling that Davis is looking to be traded and take his talents elsewhere.

HNGN is pitting that the 23 year-old Davis is eyeing the San Antonio Spurs as his next destination. On a similar note, Spurs PF LaMarcus Aldridge has also been on the rumor block, with teams like the Phoenix Suns, Washington Wizards and Detroit Pistons gaining interest on the big man.

There's no telling that Davis is out dominating every game. But this doesn't equate to the Pelicans being at the bottom position of the Western Conference. While Kevin Durant acknowledges Davis' scoring capabilities, his efforts will eventually come out in futility if NOP will continue to bow to their opponents night in and night out. Davis even expressed his "frustrations" on the Pelicans' current struggle.

As for the 31 year-old Aldridge, ChattSports is claiming that he is "not happy with the Spurs anymore". This might be due to the addition of former All-Star Pau Gasol to man the middle, and of course, the emergence of "The Klaw", Kawhi Leonard.

It's hard to imagine that the Pelicans management would let go of Davis should he pursue his decision to switch teams. He is a franchise player in his own right, but if the losing streak continues, then it's a whole new issue. Aldridge meanwhile can still put up impressive numbers, but according to sources, he feels that he's been left out since Gasol is "surely adjusting in the system".

It's a big-man for a big-man trade, but the advantage goes to the Spurs. Adding Davis to the mix will make them contend with the Warriors' "small ball" lineup. He will add speed, depth, instant offense and youth to the aging Spurs, but it's going to cost San Antonio a lot of resources and other players as well.
