OnePlus 3T & Android Nougat Update Release On Nov. 15?

OnePlus has confirmed Android Nougat update for OnePlus 3 smartphones this month. Few rumors and leaked news suggest OnePlus will be releasing its new flagship on Nov. 15, and the company might be planning to announce both the big things on one single day.

The Chinese smartphone that made a great impact in the smartphone world is all set to release its new flagship this month, which may be named OnePlus 3T. However, there is nothing official yet from the company. OnePlus company tweeted this week on the release of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 processor on Nov. 15, which certainly means the release of a new smartphone for the upcoming year.

Carl Pei took it to Twitter to convey the specifications of the upcoming OnePlus flagship. Fans can expect Optic AMOLED displays in OnePlus 3T smartphone. Rumors also suggest that OnePlus 3T will have 8GB of RAM, 3500 mAh or 4,000 mAh battery and OxygenOS, based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

OnePlus will be staying with Optic AMOLED displays for the foreseeable future.

The company has also confirmed, per Engadget, that OnePlus 3 will get its Android Nougat update this month. Once Android Nougat update is released, it will be pushed to all the OnePlus 3 phones over-the-air.

Brain Yoon, the head of software, OnePlus confirmed it that the Android Nougat update right this month and the whole world will get it by the end of the year. Android Nougat has been updated in many rival companies including, Samsung, Motorola, and LG. The tech giants have also paved their way to Android 7.1 Nougat via CyanogenMod 14.1.
