'Sense8' Season 2 Air Date, News & Update: New Character Joins The Sensates; Series Returns In January [Spoilers]

A number of "Sense8" fans are waiting for the return of their favorite science fiction drama web TV series on Netflix. After several cancellation reports, it is confirmed that the sensates are returning with a new character in "Sense8" Season 2.

There is no doubt that "Sense8" is among the TV shows today with a unique and interesting plot. The series have been on hiatus for quite a while now prompting the rumors that Netflix already canceled it. However, to the delight of fans, Brian J. Smith and Jamie Clayton confirmed that "Sense8" Season 2 is confirmed.

Meanwhile, for those wondering as to when "Sense8" Season 2 will return on Netflix, Jamie Clayton announced in a separate Tweet that the new season will premiere on Christmas day. However, the rest of thee "Sense8" Season 2 episodes will air in 2017.

There are rumors that the rest of the episodes of "Sense8" Season 2 will air on Netflix in January per Ecumenical News. It is still unconfirmed but reports are rife that it is highly possible.

A majority of the "Sense8" major star are returning in the next season. However, according to a Reddit user, a new character will be joining the sensates in "Sense8" Season 2. There is little to no detail about the new character. Thus, fans should wait for further announcement and confirmation from Netflix.

At the time, "Senes8" producers remain mum about the second season's premiere date. The only thing that fans have with them is Jamie Clayton's announcement that "Sense8" Season 2 will return on Christmas Day.
