'The Originals' News & Updates: 'The Vampire Diaries' Crossover Confirmed, Caroline & Stefan Wedding Off?

Lately, "The Originals" got the attention of the majority as the confirmation of "The Vampire Diaries" crossover is still looming. Fans of the "TVD" spinoff series "The Originals" are somehow making their own predictions on what could happen in season 4 once the series goes back on television.

The Klaus and Caroline tandem, much known as Klaroline, has been the subject of many rumors. "The Originals" fans are left wondering if Klaus and Caroline still have the chance to reunite in the upcoming season now that Caroline is engaged with Stefan.

GameNGuide reports that "The Vampire Diaries" main antagonist will sabotage Caroline and Stefan's wedding. Sybil, who has controlled and manipulated Damon (Enzo included), will make sure that Caroline will not marry Stefan.

This gives hope for Klaus and Caroline's love affair plus the speculations about the crossover will then be answered. According to reports, if the crossover will push through, Caroline will be an instrument to teach and guide their daughter Hope in developing her powers since she is believed to be the key to the salvation of the Mikaelson's.

In another report, "The Originals" executive producer Julie Plec shared that the cast and crew are willing to create more seasons after season 4 because they believe that a lot is still to be told. Plec's statement sparked hope to "The Originals" fans after several speculations of the series' cancellation.

Moreover, if the production will push through, "The Vampire Diaries" characters can do guest appearances in "The Originals" and as per Plec, they could also be promoted to series regulars. Supporters and fans of "The Originals" quickly assumed Plec's statement as the confirmation for the "TVD" series' crossover.

For now, "The Originals" Season 4 release date remains to be indefinite but it is likely to premiere sometime in January next year (2017). The CW network still has to confirm the release date details.
