NBA Swing Man Trade Rumors: Pacers Get Klay Thompson, Bucks Receive Paul George in Three-Team Deal

With Klay Thompson's shooting woes still active and the Pacers sitting on the 11th spot despite Paul George contributing 21 points and 6 rebounds per outing, are the two marquee players ready to find a new home? Rumor has it that the Golden State Warriors and the Pacers are sorting things out, and they are now bringing the Milwaukee Bucks to the mix.

According to a source, the Golden State Warriors might just put Klay Thompson on the trading block now that Kevin Durant is at the helm. "Durantula", who was acquired from the Oklahoma City Thunder, has proved his worth in the Warriors' offense, and adding a "Splash Brother" in the process. Thompson, meanwhile is having a dismal shooting season: .319 percent from three-point territory as compared to his .425 average last season.

On the other hand, "PG 13" has been vocal about his frustrations. After a lopsided 122-100 loss to the Charlotte Hornets, George claimed that the Pacers have "no trust, there's no chemistry, there's no belief", and that they are, as of late, "lifeless". If these cases are true to the point, Thompson and George are indeed prime candidates.

NBA Trade Rumor is speculating that should there be a hint of truth in the rumors, the three-team deal will most likely ship Paul George and Warriors big man Zaza Pachulia to the Bucks. The Warriors will then get guard Monta Ellis from the Pacers and Khris Middleton and John Henson from the Bucks. To complete the deal, the Indiana Pacers will acquire Klay Thompson and Jabari Parker from the Bucks.

While this is all good on paper, The Inquistr put up a stop sign. It said that the Pacers are talking with George's agent on extending his contract as the "face of thier franchise." Second, Pachulia recently signed one-year deal with GSW, making him uneligible until December 15. If he opts to be traded, the Warriors won't have enough cap space to accomodate Ellis, Henson and Middleton, who also tore his left hamstring.
