'Pokemon Go' LATEST Update: Niantic's Augmented Reality Game Already Has Met Its Demise, Confirmed? Learn Info Here!

Since "Pokemon Go" release middle of 2016, it is rumored to be nearing its end. Reports say that the decrease in the number of players and downloads are hints that Niantic's  "Pokemon Go" may already be seeing the dark of night.

According to Movie News Guide, "Pokemon Go's" popularity is immediately declining just a few months after the release. One of the reasons for the decline is Niantic's failure to add more features to the game. It is necessary to have more to make players more excited and never to tune out.

Recently, though, there are updates on "Pokemon Go" to pique the interest of players, but research still returns disappointing numbers. Many believe that it was all a fad and die-hard players are the only ones left playing and there are not many of them.

One of the latest update of "Pokemon Go" is first activated PokeStop and first Pokemon catch will have corresponding experience points. If this was done in seven days straight, there are also additional experience points. However, this among many others may not seem to be holding up to getting the interest of players back.

The "Pokemon Go" was released back in July 2016 and made a global-scale hype. Almost everyone all over the world was looking down on their phones trying to catch pocket monsters. Unvisited places become the talk of the town, frequented by players even middle of the night as it is a PokeStop.

Different establishments such as government buildings, schools and churches even requested for it to be removed as a PokeStop. Several laws were passed to ban playing "Pokemon Go" while driving.

Unfortunately, few months after, it is reported that the "Pokemon Go" players decreased from 45 million to just 30 million players. Though considered a good number, it is important to note that this is worldwide players compared to the 45 million only concentrated on mainly the US and European players.

Though there are still considerably big numbers, with players from Africa relatively still interested (they are the last to be stricken by the "Pokemon Go" fever). Unfortunately, analysts say that many players are not likely to stay in the game.

As added by Highsnobiety, despite a brief spike at the beginning of the release, daily engagement is failing at a rapid rate. Augmented reality games such as "Pokemon Go" came quite close to that of Virtual Reality but the distance is now increasingly widening.

The "Pokemon Go" is probably some other mobile games that became big as "Angry Birds" in 2011 and "Flappy Birds" in 2013. All those games became the biggest hit but met its demise eventually. Here's hoping that "Pokemon Go" survives.

The game is interesting. The history is even better with Pokemon dating back mid 90's. It should survive. It should.
