‘Frozen 2’ Release Date, Spoilers, Updates: Elsa Confirmed Lesbian; Jack Frost Joining Cast

"Frozen 2" is on every fans mind and while they are eagerly waiting for any updates on the upcoming movie, there are many speculations and possible story lines that are doing the rounds. Disney , on the other hand, is doing everything right to make sure that nobody discovers a thing about "Frozen 2" before they officially announce anything about the movie. However, there is a possibility that in the next installment of the franchise, there will be a love story between Elsa and Jack Frost.

There are rumors that say that the upcoming sequel of the popular movie will see the return of the original characters. Also, it is reported that the reason behind the delay in announcing a release date for "Frozen 2" is because the writers are busy perfecting the script. Also, the co-director of the movie, Jennifer Lee, who is also one of the writers of the movie, is busy with another project, reported Morning News USA.

According to a report, Jack Frost will be back in "Frozen 2" and will be Elsa's love interest. Here we have to note that the link makes sense as both characters have a close connection with ice. This is one of the reasons that the fans could draw such possibility. An online petition was signed which was clamoring for Jack Frost in "Frozen 2." However, the online petition failed to achieve its goal. But, if Jack does manage to get through, he would certainly make a nice pair with Elsa, reported Chattsportsnet.

Another rumor that has been doing rounds recently is that the ice queen may have a girlfriend in "Frozen 2" as well. There is again an online petition that clamored to introduce Elsa as a lesbian character. It became a popular theory after #GiveElsaAGirlfriend trended on social media and gained the support of the LGBT community. "I think it's a wonderful idea. It's a wonderful conversation that we should all have about whether a Disney princess or queen could be gay," said Idina Menzel, who lent her voice to Elsa.
