'Blindspot' Season 2 Spoilers, News & Updates: Mole Uncovered In Midseason Finale? Who's Getting Killed Off?

Since "Blindspot" Season 2 kicked off its season in September, the identity of the mole within the FBI team has already been teased. With the midseason finale airing on Wednesday, Nov. 16, on NBC, the secret might finally unfold. But the show could also kill off one of its characters before it goes on hiatus.

There are many potential suspects on who could be the mole in "Blindspot" and things might come to light in the midseason finale. Entertainment Weekly's top suspect is Dr. Borden (Ukweli Roach) who lied to Patterson (Ashley Johnson) about knowing Arabic. Zapata (Audrey Esparza) is also a likely suspect, given her behavior in the first season.

But Audrey Esparza herself have some theories about the mole with Allison (Trieste Kelly Dunn) on the top of her list. She told TV Guide that she texted "Blindspot" creator and executive producer Martin Gero about it. "He wouldn't answer my questions, but I have questions about Ali." She also doesn't want Dr. Borden to be the mole.

There are theories that Weller, the leader of the FBI team, might actually be the mole on "Blindspot." Sandstorm has been tracking him down since he went to military school, which somehow establishes the links. Could he have really known Jane in the past and got his memory messed up because he got into deep with his double agent missions?

Meanwhile, "Blindspot" Season 2 Episode 9, entitled "Why Let Cooler Pasture Deform," which airs this Wednesday, Nov. 16 on NBC, will see Jane (Jaimie Alexander) trying to stop Sandstorm from its planned attack. She calls on her FBI team to intervene, but from the looks of the teaser, things will fire up and someone could get killed.

One scene has Shepherd (Michelle Hurd) warning someone that "it's time to say goodbye," in the teaser for "Blindspot." Weller is also seen telling Zapata that Ali has been hurt yet again in a car accident. On the other hand, Patterson is heard screaming that the attackers knew everything. Of course, the mole has tipped them off.
