'Steven Universe' Season 4 Latest News & Updates: 'The War' Episode Returns, Newest Character Revealed on Episode 8?

Get ready to be with Steven and the Crystal Gems once again! "Steven Universe" season 4 episode 8 is soon to air on Cartoon Network this Thursday, and fans of the animated comedy have already shared highly favorable reviews of the upcoming episode via numerous "Steven Universe" season 4 online sneak peeks.

Set to roll supposedly this November 24th, Breathecast reports on the "Steven Universe" season 4 "Gem Harvest" episode to show as a two-part episode. "Steven Universe" season 4 episode 8 sparked viewer interest when it was first revealed at the recent NY Comic-Con, where Steven ventured into the barn and chanced upon Lapis and Peridot trying their hand at growing vegetables-to-gems.

Although the duo weren't as nearly successful in their efforts (compared to Steven, who actually made a pumpkin like them after a few minutes of coaxing), Steven was also able to conjure a dog-like creature out of the homegrown vegetable in the "Steven Universe" season 4 episode 8 trailer. Even more fun was Steven's natural uncanny ability to remain positive during the whole vegetable-to-gem transformation process.

Further speculations on a return of "The War" episode in Steven Universe season 4 have been looming the past days, yet "Steven Universe" series creator Rebecca Sugar still has to comment on whether or not this would get mixed in with either Gem Harvest part 1 or 2. As for Steven, the lovable hero does need to work more on gaining the full extent of his powers, in an MNG post.

Also, there's a huge chance for Rebecca Sugar to finally unveil Steven's powers in full in the future episodes. While the 9th "Steven Universe" season 4 episode isn't until the first of December, fan theories surrounding "Three Gems and a Baby" have been revolving around a flashback on Steven's mother Rose Quartz giving birth to Steven. Could it be that this episode would completely feature a backstory regarding baby Steven in "Steven Universe" season 4?

Old villains to make a comeback? His father Greg and the Gems would also be playing key parts in "Steven Universe" season 4 fusion scenes involving Steven, Lapis and Peridot where Steven would then be showcasing newer powers. Better it happens soon enough since there's strong talks of a Yellow and Blue Diamond return.
