NBA Latest Trade Rumors: Is Sacramento Kings Ready To Give Up Their Star Player DeMarcus Cousins? Trade Talks Allegedly Set To Materialize

During this year's offseason, DeMarcus Cousins has been frequently mentioned in the trade rumors and his name often came up on the trading block but Sacramento Kings said they will not be letting him go. However, Sacramento Kings minority owner Shaquille O'Neal recently shared that they are taking a different direction when it comes to DeMarcus Cousins.

CBS Sports reported that sources are saying a deal regarding DeMarcus Cousins might materialize by December. Accordingly, a Western Conference general manager said that Sacramento Kings has a maximum of three months to work out a deal but they will most likely reach an arrangement in a month's time. The general manager pointed out, "The closer they get to the (February trade) deadline, the less they're going to get back. If you're trying to trade him the week of the deadline, it's going to be tougher."

However, it is being contested that Sacramento Kings need DeMarcus Cousins in order to have great games for the playoffs starting this Wednesday up until the scheduled games this coming Thanksgiving. Accordingly, the price of DeMarcus Cousins might lower so many teams will show interest in him specifically because the NBA league is now entering the Panic Trade Season.

Sacramento Kings was recently stern with the approach that they will not be trading DeMarcus Cousins but rumors are again circulating that they are thinking about the possibility of having a player that is not as hot-headed and has a better attitude than DeMarcus Cousins.

As for the team being linked to DeMarcus Cousins as of late, Inquisitr reported that it is possible that he will be going to Golden State Warriors while Klay Thompson will be filling his spot in Sacramento Kings. Accordingly, Klay Thompson's situation with the Golden State Warriors is not as great before because of Kevin Durant being added to the roster.

It is possible that Klay Thompson is not happy with his role in the team he is currently in now and that is the common denominator between him and DeMarcus Cousins. The trade might just work because of this reason, many sources are saying.
