In the second episode of "This Is Us," it was a shocking revelation to the viewers that Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) are no longer together at the present time. It was revealed that Rebecca is taking refuge in the companionship of Jack's friend, Miguel (Jon Huertas). After a while, it was unfolded that Jack died in the past.

While the unsettling story behind Jack's death will not be shown anytime soon, "This Is Us" fans of the couple are still to look forward to more heartaches. In an episode to come, Moore admitted that Rebecca and Jack's marriage will go through tough times. "The relationship is not in the greatest place," Moore said, "This is not a great time for them. Things are strained and there's a real disconnect," according to Entertainment Tonight.
