Latest WWE Rumors: Conor McGregor To Fight Roman Reigns In Wrestlemania 33 In 2017

To what could be an extreme and exciting fight of the year, UFC Champion, Conor McGregor is said to appear at WrestleMania 33 next year and he is going to face former WWE World Heavyweight champion, Roman Reigns.

According to the latest news reported by HNGN, WWE's Executive Vice-President, "Triple H" was on ring side when McGregor faced Eddie Alvarez in UFC 205. McGregor eventually won the match where he was hailed the Lightweight champion. Triple H's surprise attendance could possibly be a hint for McGregor's appearance in a WWE event.

The cocky fighter, Conor McGregor is a well-known and established MMA fighter. McGregor's unorthodox fighting style and trash talking usually scare his opponents, giving him an advantage during his fights. Currently, he is also the Featherweight and Lightweight champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

An interview with Newstalk 106-108, MMA columnist reveals WWE production and management's action in reaching out to McGregor and his team. Although there are no reports confirming a deal, it is said that both parties are communicating with each other already.

If the rumors come out as true, "The Notorious" Irishman fighter, McGregor will battle it out with none less than the architect of "The Superman Punch," Roman Reigns. Reports say that McGregor once called out the entire WWE roster on Twitter. And the only brave soul that responded was Reigns.

It has been a while since WWE and the UFC have been linked with each other. It started when the professional wrestler, Brock Lesnar transferred to UFC. This time, the situation is different, as McGregor will step in the WWE ring.
