Apple Airpods seem to be coming out sooner than expected. Reports now claim that retailers have allegedly leaked the release date of the Apple Airpods. Is Apple ready to ship the wireless earphones soon?
According to the French site Mac4Ever, the Apple Airpods will be released in France on Nov. 30, as posted on the site of the French retailer Fnac. The retailer encourages pre-booking now, as they will begin shipping Airpods by the end of the month, in time for the holiday shopping.
On the other hand, the Apple Airpods has been reportedly coming out in December. The December release was allegedly leaked by the Czech retailer Alza, which has already posted the Apple Airpods on its site, welcoming pre-orders and listing a December shipment. Apparently, the December release date has quickly been taken down and is no longer reflected on the posting, IBT reported.
Tech geeks can recall that Apple has previously announced that they still need "a little more time" to finish the Airpods, as the new wireless earphones were previously announced to come out later in October. Although the company has confirmed the incredible response of customers for the release of Airpods, Apple also emphasized to TechCrunch that they are not going to ship any product unless it is ready.
Looking at the official website of Apple, although the Airpods have been listed, the release date is still marked "unavailable." The Cupertino-based tech giant is just welcoming pre-orders for the Airpods for the time being as no official release date has been announced.
The fact that Apple has admittedly begged for more lead time seems to drop hints that something wrong is being rectified in the production, which also shows how the company is committed to ensuring the Airpods will be released without defects. The rumored release dates for the Apple Airpods were not confirmed yet, so buyers are encouraged to take this report with a grain of salt.
