Apple's iPhone & iPad Security Flaw Can Bypass Passcode & Fingerprint ID To Access Your Personal Information?

You create a unique passcode for your gadgets because the last thing you want is someone to get their hands on your gadgets and have the access to your personal info, photos, text messages, contacts, and email. Reports have it that If you are an Apple iPhone or an iPad user and owner, someone can do tricks your mobile or tablet and access your personal files.

What makes it possible? Ask Siri.

The process has several steps but it is fairly easy to do. First, the attacker or hacker needs to determine your mobile phone number and we all know that Siri would be happy to assist if you just ask for it. Another phone will call your iPhone and the hacker will not answer the call but instead send a custom text reply.

Instead of entering a real message, Siri needs to be back in action as the hacker needs to enable your iPhone's VoiceOver feature. This will allow any user of your iPhone to interact with iOS. After that, it will just be a matter of tapping and clicking the right parts of the screen.

Some might take few more tries to get on you iPhone or iPad but eventually, the iOS will respond with a pop-up icon next to the input area. This will allow your hacker to view your photos and contacts.

This can be done even on your iPad as long as it is synced with your apple ID and mobile number. Those units with iOS versions from 8.0 to 10.2, even with the passcode on your iPhone and iPads, are vulnerable to get hacked.

According to reports, Apple has not answered to this flaw but until the company delivers a fix, you just have to disable Siri on the lock screen. All you have to do is go to Settings - General - Passcode Lock, and disable Siri.
