"How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 Episode 9 was the winter finale episode of the show, and it showed a major death reveal, the person #UnderTheSheet. The long overdue question was finally answered in the winter finale of "How To Get Away With Murder" and sadly, it's Wes Gibbins.

"How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 Episode 9 also revealed that Wes died before the fire started. Nate got an intel from the medical examiner, and he decided to tell Annalise, which made the winter finale of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 more mysterious.

Peter Nowalk, the creator of the show gave a little hint about the winter finale of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3. Nowalk mentioned that there's a lot of people who will be accounted for the murder of Wes, according to TV Guide. Nowalk added the other half of the season will be sort of fun, scratching of suspects as the third season goes.

There are so many possible killers who can be linked to the death of Wes, and one of them could be Nate. Nate was seen entering Annalise Keating's house during the winter finale episode of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3. Nate was seen lurking while Wes was at the precinct giving a possible statement against Annalise. Nate and Annalise are already broken up, but it is not impossible to assume that things could have gone to a wrong direction.

Another possible suspect for the murder of Wes is Frank. Frank hasn't been much in "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 episodes; however, his recent role in the show hasn't been good. Frank framed Charles Mahoney to save Wes from a potential case against him. However, two episodes before the winter finale of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3, Laurel revealed to Frank that she and Wes are dating. It was also revealed that Laurel is pregnant and Frank could have known about it.

Bonnie can be a suspect for the murder of Wes Gibbins too. Bonnie was not as shocked during "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 Episode 9. The possibility of Bonnie killing Wes is not very high in comparison to Nate or Frank, however, Bonnie was the one who killed Rebecca. If Wes found out it was really Bonnie who killed her and not Frank, he would definitely reach his boiling point. At this point, only the past can be used in reference to the motive of the suspect.

If there is one person who could plot this with fresh motive, it's Mrs. Mahoney (played by Roxanne Hart). After all, Wes pointed his finger to Charles Mahoney and he was framed for Wallace's murder. Also, the speculation that Mrs. Mahoney might have found out about Wes being the son of her late husband makes a more reasonable motive for deciding to kill him.

Any one of the cast could be the killer and speculations on who killed Wes are currently being taken into consideration. Annalise is already in jail and was extremely shocked when she found out that it was Wes who was killed. However, the first season of "How To Get Away With Murder" showed her involvement with her husband's murder.

The winter finale of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 has come to an end and creator Pete Norwalk said to expect mystery in the second half the TV series, according to Variety. Nowalk mentioned that the real mystery is Wes' killer and there will be a lot of twists and turns. Nowalk added that "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 second half will show what happened to Wes right beforehand.

Wes is now dead and everything will start to change. It will be very emotional for the characters to handle this loss, and it will definitely change the relationships of each person in Team Keating because Wes was a centerpiece. Nowalk might be kidding when he said that the characters will just have to kill or love each other after the death of Wes, or not.

Annalise has already hit rock bottom with her problems. The DA's office is already investigating on her, she went to jail and knowing that Wes was killed before the fire will put her to another level of rock bottom. Nowalk hints that Annalise will be in jail longer than the fans think.

The second half of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 is still set to feature Wes and what happened to him after he went out from the interrogation room. Also, Laurel's baby's father will also be revealed on the first episode back from winter break of the show. Season 3 Episode 10 of "How To Get Away With Murder" is set to air on Jan. 19 on ABC.
