'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 3 Spoilers: Wes Killed By Nate, Frank Or The Mahoneys? Annalise Started Fire In 'HTGAWM'?

"How To Get Away With Murder" midseason finale revealed the person who will leave the ABC series for good. In the previous "HTGAWM" episodes, fans thought that Nate (Alfred Enoch) is already off the under the sheet list, leaving Nate (Billy Brown) and Frank (Charlie Weber) as possible victims. However, in Thursday's episode, it was revealed that the well-loved puppy eyes student was killed, which fires up another question: who killed Wes Gibbins?

The Wrap suspects that Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) might have been the one who started the fire in "HTGAWM" midseason finale, although it can possibly be an accident. After being sober for a few episodes, Annalise was seen to be gulping a bottle of vodka again, which was eventually place on top of a raging fireplace.

According to the theory, it could have fallen into the fireplace and placed Wes in his mortifying half-burned state. However, "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 Episode 9 also revealed that Wes already died prior to the fire, and this might be revealed in the season finale of "HTGAWM."

Topping the list of who could possibly kill Wes are the Mahoneys. TV Guide speculates that no one in "How To Get Away With Murder" could have enough reasons to off him. Even though Wes had numerous spats between Connor (Jack Falahee) since the inaugural season of "HTGWAM," he could not possibly kill him because they have been good acquaintances all along.

Even though Wes is a full-blooded Mahoney, it may be possible that he's been ordered to be killed by the Mahoney matriarch, as her son, Charles, was blamed for the murder of his father, Wallace. The Mahoneys are not also incapable of killing Wes, as these people have the means for having a multi-million-dollar company.

Another possible person that killed Wes could be Nate as he was the last person seen entering the Keating office. Nate could have also done it to protect Annalise, as Wes ratted out the professor in the previous "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 episodes.

Frank could also be the possible killer as he is capable of doing such, as witnessed in "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 1's Lila Stangard. Frank has all the reasons: Wes and his ex, Laurel (Karla Souza), were romantically linked before Wes' death. As Frank went missing in almost the entire "HTGAWM" Season 3, he was replaced by Wes as Annalise's assistant.

The remaining episodes of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 will be chronicling the other questions related to Wes' death. Who killed Wes, where, when, how and why are the possible mysteries to watch out for "HTGAWM" when it comes back this January.
