‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ News & Updates: Sequel Release Date Confirmed, Xbox One, PC, PS4; Game Plot Teased by CEO

Since "Red Dead Redemption 2" release announcement, fans have been clamoring for news and updates as to the official date and which platform will the sequel be launched. Take-Two CEO teased regarding what fans might expect in "Red Dead Redemption" sequel, as the release date has yet to be revealed.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" Plot: What to expect?

The CEO of Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar Games, Strauss Zeinick revealed a few details and teased fans as to the upcoming "Red Dead Redemption 2." Express reported that during the MKM Partners event, the CEO first mentioned fan's reaction to the sequel's announcement last October.

"Not shocked, very pleased," CEO Strauss Zeinick said. He added that the trailer garnered enormous views following the trailer's launch, concluding that "anticipation is enormous" for the "Red Dead Redemption 2."

Regarding "Red Dead Redemption 2" plot, the CEO teased: "'Red Dead Redemption 2' will offer incredible emotional depth." According to CEO Zeinick, fans can expect "great story elements and great gameplay elements" for "Red Dead Redemption" sequel.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" Platform: Will the sequel be released in Xbox One, PS4, Switch, or PC?

"Red Dead Redemption 2" platform release hasn't been officially confirmed yet. But a recent report mentioned that PS4 and Xbox One versions will have the sequel during its launch.

However, a PC version was not confirmed but this is likely after the release of the console version. Meanwhile, fans of the Nintendo Switch would have a hard blow as as it's unlikely that the "Red Dead Redemption 2" could be released in the Nintendo Switch, per report.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" Release Date: When is the release date of the sequel?

Rockstar, the game developers behind "GTA V" and "Red Dead Redemption," have set an autumn 2017 release for the "Red Dead Redemption" sequel. Analysts have begun their predictions as to the sales profit the game will have.

Cowen & Company, an analyst firm, predicted that the "Red Dead Redemption 2" will have at least 15 million sold copies. The game could, however, sell even more once released on Nintendo NX and PC. But no confirmation have been given just yet and these are just rough estimates.
