The Duggar Family News: Joy-Anna Duggar Warmly Welcomed By Austin's Family Despite The Family's Scandal

The Duggars made if back to the headlines after Josh Duggar's scandal resurfaced after his sister's courtship announcement. It was recently revealed that Joy-Anna officially announced her courtship with Austin Forsyth.

Joy-Anna Duggar finally announced that she and her long-time friend, Austin Forsyth are officially together. The couple may have made the headlines for their announcement, but what sparked remarks, however, is the reaction of Austin's family (who also has a strong Christian background) reaction towards Joy-Anna's family scandal.

During an interview with Radar Online, Austin's family members were asked about their personal feedback in regards to Austin and Joy-Anna's budding relationship. Austin's mother and grandmother were both enthusiastic in regards to the young couple's relationship. They were then asked about Joy-Anna's family scandal, they stated that they didn't know about it.

Joy-Anna Duggar's family has been in the headlines after the "19 Kids and Counting" cancellation. The cancellation of the Duggar's hit reality TV series was prompted after the eldest Duggar son got associated with countless sex scandals.

Josh Duggar's scandal made the headlines after it was announced that he's one of the subscribers of the hacked Ashley Maddison website. The announcement then made a ripple effect which affected the family's Christian views.

Josh Duggar was guilty of sexually molesting 6 women, two of which are his own sisters, Jill and Jessa, who are now married. Josh Duggar's scandal caused the cancellation of their reality TV series, but the Duggar family was eventually given a spin-off, "Jill and Jessa: Counting On."

Jessa Duggar Seewald, on the other hand, expressed her excitement in welcoming Austin to the Duggar family. Jessa, along with her husband Ben and their son shared a video, wherein she talked about Joy-Anna as a child and how happy they are for her and Austin.

"She's smack dab in the middle of 8 boys in the family lineup," Joy-Anna's sister Jessica Duggar Seewald stated as mentioned by IBT. "Seems like just yesterday she was just a little tomboy playing with green plastic army men and running around the fighting nerf gun wars with her bros."
