'Quantico' Season 2 Episode 7 Recap: Ryan Involved With The Terrorists? Shelby Goes Undercover; Miranda Framed Her Boyfriend To Not Get Caught

"Quantico" Season 2 Episode 7 is getting more thrilling with revelations and misdirections among the FBI, CIA, and the terrorists. "Quantico" Season 2 Episode 7 kick started with Shelby and Leon enjoying each other's company. Sneaking around for weeks put an advantage for Shelby.

Meanwhile, Ryan, Nimah, and Miranda were also having a secret meeting when Alex and Shelby caught them. Alex feels left out and asked to be the one to figure out about the false room inside Owen's house. During this moment, it was evident that Nimah, Ryan, and Miranda were hiding something from Alex.

After the encountered conflict, the whole class went to Gold Leaf to play some truth or dare darts game. The entire game went from Leon admitting he's made a friend, Dayana admitting she's from Zimbabwe to Sebastian losing his cool towards Harry. Alex also noticed Ryan doing the work that Alex was supposed to do, which is to elicit something from Owen.

"Quantico" Season 2 Episode 7 also focused on an enhanced interrogation technique that involves torture to get intel from someone. Owen challenged the whole class to crack him until he tells his undercover alias, however, it wouldn't be that easy. The class felt pressure in dealing with the scenario and had to do a lot of thinking to come up with the best possible technique.

Meanwhile, Alex decided to head out to Owen's house to find the false room that Miranda showed to Ryan and Nimah. Alex found the room with cellphones and laptop, however, she's got company. Harry found Alex lurking, but it wasn't him Alex should worry about. As it turns out Lydia was heading to her and Owen's house. Alex had to jump from the roof and didn't get any proof of what she saw inside the false room.

It's been 20 hours since Owen was tied up and tortured, but he still wouldn't crack. So Ryan, Léon, and Sebastian tried to get their hands dirty, according to Entertainment Weekly. Dayana, who's got experience with torture, suggested they should hurt someone that Owen loves, and that's his daughter Lydia. The class began waterboarding Lydia until Owen cracked up and gave his alias.

Lydia wasn't happy when Owen cracked up and gave up his alias. Owen mentioned he cracked up to show his daughter that he doesn't put his work above his daughter, but Lydia was not impressed. Owen then decided to head out and found Alex at the bar. Owen seems to start opening up to Alex, which adds to her advantage in investigating.

It's not only Alex, Miranda, Owen, and Lydia who have reached their boiling point during "Quantico" Season 2 Episode 7. Harry and Sebastian's arguments have become more intense when the two confronted each other. Sebastian told Harry that he's the kind of man who's used to getting what he wants, while Harry countered his thoughts and said Sebastian's the kind of person who was never allowed to get what he wants. The shocking part of "Quantico" Season 2 Episode 7 came in when Sebastian jumped into Harry's bed and kissed him.

Flash forward of "Quantico" Season 2 Episode 7, Alex was caught by the terrorists and was tied up to a chair. A guy named Mike was asked by the terrorists to beg Alex for the whereabout of the drives but she didn't buy any of it, until the terrorists killed Mike. Dayana was the next one the terrorists put inside the room with Alex. Dayana was tortured enough until Alex cracked up and revealed that Lydia has the drives.

Miranda is involved with the terrorists, it was showed from the past episodes of "Quantico." When Alex called Shelby and gave her the phone number of the terrorist outside the perimeter walls, Miranda decided to frame her lover at work. Shelby already got Eric Boyd's message about Miranda and suspected her, however, Will convinced Shelby otherwise, according to TV Fanatic.

"Quantico" Season 2 Episode 7 also featured Shelby going undercover and losing her job as a handler due to her closeness with Leon. Another revelation of "Quantico" Season 2 Episode 7 was Ryan waking up in a forest with an empty syringe near him and a cell phone. Ryan received a phone call from an unknown number and the person on the other end only said, "you've been selected."

Miranda was revealed as part of the terrorists and during the last part of "Quantico" Season 2 Episode 7, she told Shelby, "They have been ten steps ahead this whole time, what made them screw up?" Back in the flash forward scene, Alex and Dayana were rescued by Léon, Harry, and Sebastian. Alex said she's done playing nice and the group tried to find their way downstairs to the bunker to get medical supplies for Dayana.

"Quantico" Season 2 Episode 7 is entitled "LCFLUTTER." The episode's title is a CIA cryptonym, according to TV Fanatic. "LCFLUTTER" means a polygraph, and while there were no lie detectors involved in the episode, "Quantico" Season 2 Episode 7 tackled the challenges of truth, betrayal, and lies.
