'Dancing With The Stars' Season 23: Jana Kramer, Gleb Savchenko Eliminated From Finale?

Jana Kramer, together with her partner, Gleb Savchenko, have been the first to be eliminated from the "Dancing with the Stars" Season 23 finale on Monday. The pair received the lowest scores of the night for their redemption dance, and the freestyle in which Savchenko stumbled.

The "Dancing with the Stars" partners have reportedly been under the weather coming into the finale, as per The Boot. Kramer uploaded a photo of herself and Savchenko on Instagram, stating that they were suffering from flu.

One of us has the flu...well maybe two of us. @glebsavchenkoofficial. Excuse me while I go vitamin C overdose

Savchenko had previously been replaced by Alan Bersten as Kramer's partner while Savchenko was temporarily out due to a knee injury. Bersten then later joined Savchenko and Kramer in a trio-dance in the semi-finals. Kramer herself had also been sidelined by an injury early in the season when she sprained a muscle in her rib cage during her first performance on "Dancing with the Stars."

For their redemption dance in the DWTS Season 23 finale, Kramer and Savchenko danced tango in the Zedd's "Stay the Night." For their performance, the pair got a score of 35 out of 40, although Judge Carrie Ann Inaba did praise the duo for the improvement they showcased over their previous tango dance.

Meanwhile, in the freestyle dance, Kramer and Savchenko garnered a score of 36 out of 40. The pair danced to Sia's "Unstoppable" for their freestyle performance in which Kramer stumbled in a mid-jump. Judge Inaba stated that she had to deduct points for the stumble, as reported by Billboard.

The remaining competitors left for the Season 23 finale of "Dancing with the Stars" are James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess, Calvin Johnson and Lindsay Arnold, and Laurie Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy. The three pairs will be competing for the Mirror Ball trophy.
