‘NCIS’ Season 14, Episode 9 Spoilers: Bishop Is Dating [SPOILER]! How Did Everyone React?

Bishop's (Emily Wickersham) dating life has taken center stage in the latest episode of "NCIS" Season 14. The identity of the man she's dating was finally revealed -- and it's not Gibbs (Mark Harmon).

Episode eight titled "Enemy Combatant" of "NCIS" Season 14 showcased Bishop's brothers bent on smoking out their sister's new man, from Gibbs to Reeves (Duane Henry) to Torres (Wilmer Valderrama). It turns out the apple of Bishop's eye isn't from these three. It was Qasim Naasir (Rafi Silver), whom she and viewers first met back in the "Lost in Translation" episode of "NCIS" Season 12, according to TVLine.

In the latest "NCIS" episode, Qasim assisted in translating Pashto and joined Bishop's mission at Gitmo. After returning from Gitmo, Bishop approached Gibbs and confessed that she broke Rule 12 or "Don't Date Coworkers."

Bishop told Gibbs in the recent "NCIS" episode that she wanted to tell him the truth about her and Qasim but she didn't know how. She explained that she and Qasim "were just good friends" at first but their relationship "turned into something more" a few months ago. Bishop added that she won't apologize for her newfound love not because it would break Rule No. 6 or "Never Say You're Sorry," but because she likes Qasim a lot.

Gibbs responded with, "Took you long enough," and greeted Bishop a happy Thanksgiving. She then went back to her apartment with her new beau and finally introduced Qasim to her brothers Robbie (Jesse Johnson), George (Ryan Doom), and John (Jesse Bradford). The brothers received him with a warm welcome, with George exclaiming, "Thank God! We thought it was Gibbs!"

In a recent interview with TVLine, Wickersham shared that she "had known for a little while" whom Bishop is dating on "NCIS." However, the actress didn't know "how the storyline was going to unfold."

"NCIS" Season 14 returns for its ninth episode titled "Pay to Play" on Tuesday, Dec. 6 on CBS. In the episode, the NCIS team "investigates a series of escalating threats" against Congresswoman Jenna Flemming portrayed by guest star Mary Stuart Masterson. Director Vance (Rocky Carroll), meanwhile, manages temporary protection detail on the congresswoman, SpoilerTV reported.
