‘Scorpion’ Season 3, Episode 10 Spoilers: Walter Swims In Deadly Tar Pits; Waige & Tim Love Triangle Continues!

Next week's "Scorpion" episode does not look -- and smell -- good for Walter (Elyes Gabel). A new case will require him to swim in a tar pit to save someone.

In episode 10 titled "This is the Pits" of "Scorpion" Season 3, Walter "must swim through the deadly La Brea Tar Pits when Team Scorpion helps a woman trapped in the tar before she runs out of oxygen," SpoilerTV reported. Meanwhile, Veronica (Lea Thompson) "helps" Ralph (Riley B. Smith) boost his troop cookie sales without her daughter Paige's (Katharine McPhee) knowledge.

The upcoming episodes of "Scorpion" would likely showcase more of Paige's relationship with Veronica, who she hasn't seen in the 10 years she was imprisoned. Emotional moments between the mother and daughter could happen but given Veronica's past as a grifter or con artist, fans can't be blamed for being mistrustful of her just yet. Veronica could have good intentions but there could still be tension and arguments in store for her and her daughter.

Much of the most recent "Scorpion" episode featured Paige telling everyone that her mother cannot be trusted and indeed she wasn't, given how much she lied in the episode, according to TV Fanatic. In the end, Veronica apologized to Paige for being a horrible mother and praised her for not being like her.

McPhee told Entertainment Weekly in October that Paige and Veronica's relationship is "volatile" and Paige "gets irritated by the fact that the team wants to be involved." Upcoming "Scorpion" episodes will also tackle Paige's romance with Tim (Scott Porter). Walter won't like this because he also has feelings for Paige, and he will have lots of conflict with Tim as a result.

It remains to be seen what would happen to Veronica in upcoming "Scorpion" episodes. Are there more lies and conspiracies hidden under her belt? Was her return a part of a bigger plan? Stay tuned to "Scorpion" for the answers.

CBS recently ordered an extra episode for "Scorpion" Season 3, Parent Herald previously reported. This order puts the current season to a whopping 25-episode run from the initially announced 24 episodes. It also means that "Scorpion" won't have extended breaks as opposed to other programs with shorter orders.
