Conjoined Twins Now Separated, The Babies Reaction Seeing Each Other Were Priceless

Previously conjoined twins Anias and Jadon McDonald are both now having a new beginning separately, as they have undergone a 27-hour surgery. The two little boys got interesting reactions when they have seen each other for the first time.

It had taken 13 months before the conjoined twins got separated. The tops of their heads were together, and they were sharing brain tissues while having entwined blood vessels.

A total of six weeks marathon surgery was done at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx in New York City to give the Twins a much brighter future. The Mcdonald brothers are set to begin rehab sessions, as CNN reports.

The little twins are expected to learn how to crawl, walk and lift their heads in a few weeks. Everyone is watching and waiting for those weeks and on.

A photo from the recovery room showed the boys could be seen looking into each other's eyes for the first time. It was fascinating as both were staring at each other with mouths agape, looking stunned. It went viral in the social media.

As the speedy recovery goes next to the operation, everyone in the room remembers the challenges of the past month. Both boys have had at least one seizure. There was also a time that skin grafting has been followed with infections in their scalps.

The operation, as expected, was very critical. If twins are conjoined at the head, there is always a dominant child that has the heart and lungs operating overtime to keep them both alive, PEOPLE quoted Dr. James Goodrich as saying.

Jadon, the dominant twin, is now described as the "crazy wild man," by his mom. He is the active one who always wants to play with anyone who enters his room.

Anias, on the other hand, is having more difficulties and suffering from frequent fevers. He also has some bacterial infections and a series of vomiting. Nonetheless, doctors say that Anias is getting stronger every day.

The family of the twin still need to cover many medical expenses. There is a fundraising going on at GoFundMe, which has now raised more than $291,000.
