NBA Trade Rumors: Deron Williams To Back Up Kyrie Irving And LeBron James In Cavs? OKC Thunder To Get Rudy Gay?

More NBA trade rumors for 2016 season are continuously setting the hype for NBA fans as bigger names surface for a possible trade. All-Star Deron Williams is highly speculated to transfer to the NBA Champion Cleveland Cavs to join the roster of outstanding players like Kyrie Irving, Iman Shumpert, J.R. Smith, and LeBron James. In another NBA trade rumor, Oklahoma City Thunder might be interested in Sacramento Kings' Rudy Gay?

Things get more exciting as a report from Cleveland.com mentioned that even the Cavs will most likely be eyeing a new guard as a backup for LeBron James and Kyrie Irving in the team's defense. In the said report, writer Joe Vardon responded to an NBA fan's query about the possibility of taking Norris Cole for the Cavs. According to Vardon, Cole does not seem to be included in the list that the Cavs are targeting.

Interestingly, Cleveland writer Vardon mentioned two other names which the Cleveland Cavs are targeting to assist LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. The NBA Champion Cleveland Cavs are allegedly eyeing former All-Star Deron Williams from Dallas Mavericks, as well as D.J. Augustin. The report added that the Cavs will most likely start recruiting around Dec. 15, the time when free agents are already available for the trade-off.

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder is also being linked with some NBA trade rumors. Reports speculate that the OKC is attempting to add up another excellent player to help Steven Adams, Russell Westbrook and Andre Roberson in coveting the NBA championship title. Rumors are now swirling for a possible trade-off for Sacramento Kings' Rudy Gay and Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin. ESPN believes that the Oklahoma City Thunder will be more likely interested in getting the level of Rudy Gay, as he has the capacity to manipulate the other players in the court. The report further mentioned that Blake Griffin may not be a potential trade as Blake Griffin has already expressed that he has no plans to come home.

Moreover, the OKC center Steven Adams told ESPN that they are still in the process of figuring out their strengths and weaknesses. Adams emphasized that it is a day-to-day thing and they are being careful not to go ahead.
