Microsoft Surface Studio News & Updates: Software Giant to Ship Pre-ordered Device Early; Next Shipment to Come in 2017?

As the holiday season rolls in, some customers who pre-ordered the Microsoft Surface Studio will get an early surprise from Microsoft as the software giant will be shipping the first batch of the Microsoft Surface Studio earlier than scheduled.

 According to The Verge, the Microsoft Surface Studio was originally scheduled to ship mid-December. But those who pre-ordered the device early have been receiving an email advising them that their pre-ordered Microsoft Surface Studio will arrive sooner.

The Microsoft Surface Studio costs $3,000 and can be pre-ordered at the Microsoft online store. Microsoft still accepts pre-orders, but according to the Microsoft online store, the next batch of Microsoft Surface Studio will ship early 2017.

Revealed in October, the Microsoft Surface Studio has an ultrathin 28-inch adjustable screen and runs on Windows 10 pro. The Microsoft Surface Studio is also equipped with a 6th-gen Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, and a surface pen as stated in the Microsoft online store.

The Microsoft Surface Studio will also be available in 6th-gen Intel Core i7 with a 32GB RAM and in 6th-gen Intel Core i7 with 16GB RAM. The two models of the Microsoft Surface Studio are pre-ordered at $4,199 and $3,499 in the Microsoft Online store, respectively.

Aimed at animators, designers, and other creative industries, the Microsoft Surface Studio folds down to a 20-degree viewing angle from its upright position, emulating the slanted desks used by animators and architects. And with the use of the Surface pen, users will be able to sketch and doodle on the Microsoft Surface Studio.

The software giant Microsoft hast also set up a dedicated support line solely for the Microsoft Surface Studio. Customers can call the special number for any questions or concerns on the device. A "thank you" booklet also comes with the package.
