Well, the three-time Ballon d'Or winner broke his two goals. This means that he has scored 31 in La Liga goals over the course of 2016, according to GMS.

Although Real Madrid Cristiano Ronaldo's goals were enough to secure a spot for Zinedine Zidane's La Liga leaders, he still becomes the first player in La Liga history to score 30 or more La Liga goals in seven successive calendar years.
