Selena Gomez Posts Emotional Message On Instagram After Viral Acceptance Speech At The 2016 AMA

Selena Gomez has been out of the spotlight when taking some with herself. Just recently Selena came out of the spotlight to receive the award at American Music Awards last Sunday, also Selena returned to social media to thank all her supporters once again.

According to ABC News, Selena announced last August that she would be taking a break to focus on herself and her health but took to Instagram last Thursday to reflect on her break.

Selena begins her caption stating that she has a lot to be thankful for the year and added that this has been the hardest one yet but the most rewarding one and she already fought the fight of not being enough.

Selena continued: "I have only wanted to reflect the love you guys have given me for years and show how important it is to take care of YOU. By grace through faith. Kindness always wins." Selena ended that note by saying "I love you guys, God bless." Selena decided to take a break amidst her incoming Revival World Tour to be held on Dec. 18 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

In an interview with People, she revealed about what she learned regarding lupus. She said it could create side effects like anxiety, panic attacks and depression that could be really a burden to her. So she decided to focus on her health and happiness on her time off.

Selena won the Favorite Female Artist - Pop/Rock at American Music Award and many of her fans were shocked with her appearance to receive the award. She further used her speech to explain why she needed some time off.
