Huawei P10 Specs & Release Date: Curved Display, Dual Camera Phone To Launch In April?

Huawei, a Chinese tech giant, has been successfully manufacturing smartphones acquiring the third position in the world. Leaks suggest that Huawei is planning to launch its next smartphone named Huawei P10 with a curved display and dual camera.

In 2015, Huawei sold 109 million phones, and they will be crossing that number this year as well. Huawei's P9 and P9 Plus were effective in acquiring the tech market with high sales. According to Android Headlines, the leaked images of Huawei P10 shows a black variant of the phone with the home button below the display. The phone is curved with a fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone.

Above the fingerprint scanner, there are two camera sensors with LED flash with Leica's branding, which means Leica lenses will be used in Huawei P10. The power or lock and volume rocker keys are placed on the right-hand side of this smartphone.

Huawei might be planning for a curved display to give tough competition to LG G Flex and Samsung S Edge, which have curved displays. While, Apple is also rumored to be focusing on curved display for its upcoming iPhone 8 devices.

Expected specifications of Huawei P10 are 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, powered by a Kirin 960 64-bit octa-core processor. The smartphone might come with 6GB RAM, along with 256GB of storage.

The device will come pre-installed Android 7.0 or Android 7.1 Nougat customed with Huawei UI, Emotion UI (EMUI) 5.0. The phone is expected to release in April, however, there is no official word from the company yet.

If these leaked images are considered, the upcoming flagship of Huawei P10 will be sleek compared to Huawei P9. Stay tuned for more updates and news on smartphones.
