Jeremy Lin Injury News Update: Jlin7 Expressed How He Misses Basketball Through Video And Photo; Coach Atkinson Likes ‘Linology’

It has been almost a month that Jeremy Lin has been sidelined due to his left hamstring injury. Fans of Jeremy Lin greatly miss their beloved Brooklyn Nets starting point guard on the hard court. Similarly, Jeremy Lin has recently expressed how he misses playing for the Brooklyn Nets too. For now, fans can settle for Jeremy Lin's contribution to his team through his note-taking, which coach Kenny Atkinson has called "Linology."

On his official Instagram account, Jlin7 posted a photo of himself sporting his Brooklyn Nets jersey. Jeremy Lin expressed what is in his heart through his caption where he admitted he has already been missing basketball. Jlin7 further revealed through the hashtag he included in the caption that although he already misses basketball, he is patiently waiting as well.

Jeremy Lin also posted a video where he expressed his gratitude for his millions of fans. Jlin7 posted a short clip on his official Facebook account where he thanked his fans for praying for his fast recovery.

Jeremy Lin also gave a quick update on his hamstring injury by showing his legs encased in Normatec Pulse housing which is widely utilized to massage with compressed air the limbs of athletes after every workout or rehab. Unfortunately, Jlin7 did not reveal when he can come back but he mentioned in the clip that he is targeting to play basketball soon.

For now, fans can still see Jeremy Lin in the next games of Brooklyn Nets, although not holding a basketball, but still holding a clipboard. Since Jlin7 is still not able to play on the hard court, Jeremy Lin will continue to support his team through observing the game and taking down statistics.

It is interesting to note that Jeremy Lin is maximizing his other gifts while not being able to play for Brooklyn Nets. Jlin7 is an Economics major from Harvard University and he is using his skills in taking notes and listing statistics to supply coach Kenny Atkinson of significant game statistics to improve the team's offensive and defense plays.

Brooklyn Nets coach Kenny Atkinson appreciates Jeremy Lin's efforts to continue to be involved with the team's games. Apparently, it was Jeremy Lin who offered to take notes of statistics. Coach Kenny Atkinson gladly accepted Jlin7's initiative to show he really cares for his Brooklyn Nets team.

In fact, coach Kenny Atkinson labeled Jeremy Lin's gesture to take notes as "Linology." Coach Kenny Atkinson even finds Linology to be something "beautiful," the New York Times reported.
