Google’s Flagship Pixel & Pixel XL Smartphones Hopes To Get $4 Billion In Revenue By 2017

From being the most powerful search engine, Google hopes to be one of the most competitive smartphone brands. The release of Pixel and Pixel XL marks Google's entry into the smartphone industry. Business analysts claim that Google´s flagship phone could hit $4 billion in revenue by 2017.

With the numerous positive reviews about the android phone´s features, physical appearance, and performance, this forecast is not impossible to attain. According to The Business Insider, Google may possibly plow approximately $4 billion in revenue in 2017 alone. It sounds pretty ambitious, but with Google´s expertise, it has a great potential to upsize their footprint.

Google has invested in its hardware up to the software design with precision. American multinational financial services Morgan Stanley even projected the sales to soar higher than $5.8 billion by the end of 2017. Currently, the mobile phones have sold over nine million units. The amount may not still be comparable to the sales of the top vendors such as Apple and Samsung, but it is undoubtedly a good start.

CNET´s reviews of Google´s Pixel reveal an overall score of 8.8. The tech product reviewer also noted how well the mobile phone raked incredible sales. Other reviews highlight Google Pixel´s premium hardware and superb camera, which is noted to be even better than the iPhone 7 Plus.

Google has taken a huge risk to compete in the android space, but it all seems to be paying off well. Morgan Stanley appears to be correct that Pixel and Pixel XL sales are safe and is anticipating solid Google scores.

Luckily, the brilliant devices have not flopped yet and with nine million units sold and counting, Google has already found success as a mobile phone brand. Do you own a Google Pixel phone? Share your experience with the unit; leave your comment below!
