‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6 News & Update: Winter Finale Spoilers; Evil Queen Wishes To Sideline Savior

"Once Upon a Time" is soon set to go on its winter break. Before it takes the holiday break, it will be introducing more dark twists to the storyline. The midseason finale of "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 is called "Wish You Were Here" and it will show the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) stealing Alladin's (Deniz Akdeniz) magic lamp from Princess Jasmine (Karen David). This will definitely brew more trouble.

In Episode 10 of "Once Upon a Time," the Evil Queen will find out that the opposite camp possesses a special weapon. This weapon is designed to put an end to her evil ways. The Evil Queen now will go to any lengths to stop the heroes from using the weapon against her. She will steal Alladin's magic lamp from Princess Jasmine and make a wish. It is hinted that she wishes that she has the power to "sideline the Savior (Jeniffer Morrison)," permanently.

It is also reported that "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 midseason finale will see that David (Josh Dallas), Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) and Henry (Jared Gilmore) will work together to stop the Evil Queen. Regina (Lana Parilla), on the other hand, will be on a rogue mission. Emma will be on the missing person list. The winter finale hints at a new danger for Gold (Robert Carlyle) and Belle's (Emilie de Ravin) newborn, reported Inquisitr.

It does seem that the midseason finale is bleak. However, the producers of the show said that hope is returning to Storybrooke. In the upcoming episode of "Once Upon a Time" Season 6, a magical wish will bring back hope. However, it comes with a twist, again, reported Entertainment Weekly.

"In a season that's seen a returning Evil Queen, a Savior in crisis, and a renegade genie all facing a dire prophecy, hope returns to Storybrooke in the form of a magical wish. But of course, like all magic, it comes with a price - and this price upends the world of all of our fairy tale heroes and villains as they are thrown into an adventure involving new worlds, old loves, and an impending destiny that can no longer be ignored," they said.

There is a high probability that "hope" might return in the form of Robin Hood (Sean Maguire). This will be a total surprise to the fans as the penultimate episode of Season 5 saw Robin Hood meet his end while protecting Regina from Hades' (Greg Germann) Olympian Crystal. However, the producers had confirmed soon after "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 premiere that Maguire would be returning to feature in multiple episodes this season.

 "Once Upon a Time" Season 6 Episode 10, the mid-season finale, airs on December 4 on ABC. Fans are eagerly waiting to know what's in store.
